Overall though, these are small issues that I'm happy to overlook. An example of this is Victor meeting up with the new tribe at the beginning of the book, finding out about the women there, then repeating that exact same information in full detail again to his own tribe later. Instead, it is starting to feel a little too much like a blow by blow recap of the characters' experiences rather than selectively picking out the important moments to tell a strong story.Īlso, the book suffers fairly heavily with repetition. All we needed was a few throwaway lines about time passing, people getting on with their work and jobs that were scheduled to take days getting accomplished, and time could be moving much quicker. This book maybe covers two days of time and I feel like it could have covered a lot more. I feel that the pacing in this book (and the last) has dropped quite significantly. The polarising content aside, there are some issues that keep me from giving this book full marks in this review. These aren't books for everyone (there's far too much sexual content for that), but they're a great deal of fun to read and I only wish there were more out already so I wouldn't have to wait. Each one getting better as he expands his story with more plot twists and unique characters.Ĥ books in and I am no less excited for the next book in the series as I was for this one. My main man, Edgar Rice Burroughs wrote stuff that entertained millions.then and now.Īll 4 Tamer books are five stars. Jules Verne was enjoyed by millions as was Charlie Dickens who serialized their work in newspapers. Homer compiled a magical journey that we still see in our modern literature and entertainment industry. He creates a whole world with that magical touch called WHIMSY. Michael-Scott is a master of creating escapist literature for guys wanting a serious bit of Action, Attitude, Adrenaline and Testosterone narration.

Some criticism arises by IDIOTS that enjoy pointing out specks in an author’s work, but cannot see the FUN all around them. Tales of adventure and humor that become a series. I want, no I demand the creation of Yarns about Good Guys overcoming Galactic Warlords. Now I’m not necessarily talking about what will be classic literature. Wonderful characters in unique situations, the entire universe built to enclose everything. I just like to have some great imaginative writing as the world saw from 1800 to today. In the entire literary world, the Ladies dominate in all areas.

The female persuasion has Chic Lit which I have been chastised for enjoying by wife, friends, coworkers for enjoying. Michael-Scott Earle is a genius at putting out books for the XY Chromosome. Tamer is now book # 4 and we have to wait till 5-6-7 etc.
